Video Production
I find myself performing a variety of roles depending on the size of the production. I worked for nearly a decade at Steelehouse Productions. Most frequently, I am a 1st AC (camera assistant) on large commercial gigs. I also frequently find myself as a camera operator or a DIT (digital imaging tech). I’m hired directly by businesses as well as agencies to serve a range of clients.
I’ve fulfilled these production roles for clients including NASA, The Pioneer Woman, Kraft Foods, Purina, Walmart, Remington, Bushnell, Hasbro, Cancer Treatment Centers of America, Shriner’s Hospital and more.
It’s challenging to put together any sort of demo reel for this work. How can you tell if I was a good AC by watching a reel? And what about DIT work? For camera operator work, it’s not unusual for the footage to go direct to client. Occasionally, I get to see the final result of some projects. Here are a few links and some notes on my role.
